NEW Tut~Hint of Fall

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP.
Any similarity to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

:Supplies Needed:
PSP X3 but any version will work
PTU Scrap kit, Hint of Fall by Creative Scraps by Crys found here
PTU tube by Pinup Toons and you need a license to use his work and you can find them here
Mask of choice I used WSL-Mask 84 found here
Font of choice I used Script MT Bold
Template I used is Template  174 by Elegant Inspirations found here
Add Drop Shadow as you go with your settings at -2, 1, 65, 10

**NOTE: You will need to resize all the elements to your liking**
(after you are done you can resize the template to your liking, I did mine at 600 x 514)

 Let's Begin!
Open up Template and delete the copyright layer, (after you are done you can resize the template to your liking, I did mine at 500 x 500)
Now we are going to be adding papers from this lovely kit to the shapes of the template. I am going to show you one time for one shape and then you just follow these same steps for the rest of the template. Got that? Okay let's do this!
So starting from the bottom of the template and working our way up. At the very bottom of the layer palette, you will see background and right above that layer you will see Black Dotted (to change the color of the black dots you go to: Selections- Select All- Float-Defloat- right click on the black dotted layer on the layers palette and Add new raster layer, and then using your Flood Fill tool, flood fill to the color you want, deselect, then delete the layer with the black dotted) then above the black dotted layer you will see the Lt Pink Circles, and that is where we are gonna start to place our paper.
So click the layer with the Lt Pink Circles to highlight on your layers palette and I used paper 5.  Open up paper 5 from the kit and then right click copy, close off the paper (you can resize if you want but I didn't cause it really doesn't matter on this template) then right click paste as new layer above the Lt Pink Circles. Then highlight the layer Lt Pink Circles again on your Layers Palette and then go to Selections- Select All- Float- Defloat, then click the paper layer you just added to highlight on the layers palette, then go to Selections-Invert then hit Delete on your keyboard, Deselect, and now you will have a new layer with the paper the same shape as the Lt Pink Circles, you can delete that layer with the Lt Pink Circles you don't need it.
So that is how you will add papers to each shape on the template. Just follow these same steps above. You can choose whatever papers you want from the kit, just get creative and have fun!
You can use my tag as a guideline.
So now that you have all papers on the shapes of the template, this is where you will add your main tube. So open up your tube of choice and right click copy, close off tube, right click paste as new layer at the very top layer on the layers palette. Resize her to your liking. duplicate your tube and then go to Image-Mirror.
Now place this duplicate tube below your main tube on the layers palette but above the octagon shape. Now before we finish up the duplicate tube lets put the blinds effect on the octagon, so to do that follow these steps: highlight the octagon shape on your layers palette and then go to Effects- Texture Effects- Blinds and choose a lighter color of what is on the octagon right now and have your settings for the blinds at: Width:6, Opacity:26, Horizontal checked. You should now have the blinds effect on the octagon.
Now back to placing the duplicate tube on the octagon: Your octagon layer should still be highlighted on the layers palette so go to Selections- Select All- Float- Defloat- then click on the duplicate tube layer to highlight then go to Selections- Invert- hit delete on your keyboard, deselect. Now staying on the tube layer go to Effects- Textures- Blinds and use the same settings you used for the octagon shape, then change the Blend mode of the tube to Luminance Legacy.
Now here is where you can add any elements from the kit you want, just make sure you copy and paste each element as a new layer and don't forget to add drop shadows it will give your tag a three dimensional feel.
Now open up paper 15 resize to the size of your tag and right click copy, close off paper, then right click paste as new layer at the bottom of the layers palette, then add your mask
Now you can add your name and copyright info for the tube you used. And you are done!
Hope you enjoyed this tut! Send me any tags you make and I will post them on my blog!
