Midsummer Night's Dream FTU


This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP. Any similarity to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

:Supplies Needed: 
PSP X3 but any version will work
Animation Shop
FTU kit Midsummer's Dream found here
Rainbow Sparkle animation found here
Tube of choice I am using FTU Artist Cris Ortega found here
My Supplies here
Mask of choice but I am using WSL mask 341 found here
Plug-in Xero-Porcelain found here
Font of choice I am using Angelo DB
Add Drop Shadow as you go with your settings at 2, 2, 65, 15 

Let's Begin!



Open up a new image I like to use a tagger size of 460 x 460
Flood fill white
With your Ellipse tool, foreground and stroke open and background and fill closed, draw out a circle, doesn't matter the color of the stroke because we will change it later, but have your width set at 11.9 Okay so now go to Selections-Select All-Float-Defloat, then open up paper 7 and right click copy, right click paste as new layer and place above the circle, then on that same paper layer, go to Selections-Invert-hit delete on your keyboard, then deselect. Your circle should be the color of the paper you selected. 

Okay so now using your magic wand click inside the circle then go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 5, then open up paper 1 and then right click copy, right click paste as new layer under circle, then on that same paper layer go to Selections-Invert-Hit delete on your keyboard-Deselect

Now open the tube from my Supplies and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, duplicate your tube, place one tube below the circle frame and one above it. Now on your circle frame layer click inside it with your magic wand then go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 5, then highlight the tube layer that is below the frame and go to Selections-Invert-Hit Delete on your keyboard-Deselect. Now on the tube layer that is above the circle frame using your eraser erase the bottom part of the tube that is sticking out of the frame. Now go to Effects-L=Plug-ins-Xero-Porcelain and have these settings 


Now add any other elements you want on your tag making sure you copy and paste each one as a new layer.

Now add paper 7 and then add your mask, invert your mask
Add your name and copyright info

Follow below to the rest of the tut if you want to animate
:Animation Shop:
  Open up rainbow sparkles animation and notice there are
36 frames. Select all frame by holding the control key +A, minimize for now

Now go back to PSP and right click copy merged and paste in AS as new animation. Right click copy the first frame then right click paste after current frame, repeat that for a total of 36 frames. Highlight all frames, minimize for now

Now maximize the sparkle animation you just minimized and making sure that all frames are still highlighted, right click copy then on your tag, right click paste into Selection, move the animation where you want it.
View animation!

Catch A Wave FTU

This tutorial was written for those who have a working knowledge of PSP. Any similarity to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

:Supplies Needed: 
PSP X3 but any version will work
Animation Shop
Xero-Porcelain found here
FTU Catch a Wave Freebie Add-On by Nette's Night Owl Works found here
Tube of choice I am using Elias Chatzoudis and you need a License to use his work found here
Mask of choice I am using Vix mask-07 found here
 Font of choice I am using Blue Plate Special
Add Drop Shadow as you go with your settings at 2, 2, 65, 15 

Let's Begin!


Open up a new image I like to use a tagger size of 460 x 460
Flood fill white
Open up the frame and right click copy, right click paste as new layer. Close off original resize and position to your liking, with your magic wand click inside the frame and then go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 5
Google "ocean" images from online and then right click copy, right click paste as new layer and place under the frame, then go to Selections-Invert-hit delete on your keyboard-deselect, your pic should be inside the frame now
 
Open up your tube of choice and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, position her to the left like mine. Then go to Plug-ins-Xero-Porcelain and use these settings
Click ok. Now open up paper 8 and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, add your mask, invert your mask.
 
Add any other elements you want on your tag making sure you copy and paste each one as a new layer.
 
Add your name and copyright info.

Follow down to the rest of the tut to animate

:Animation Shop:
Back in PSP close off all layers except for the water pic and then right click copy merged and right click paste into AS as new animation. Then go to Effects-Insert Image Effect-Click underwater
 Click ok. You should have 8 frames, erase frame 1 for a total of 7 frames, Select All (ctrl+A) minimize for now.
 
Now go back to PSP and close off the ocean pic and open all the frames that are UNDER the ocean pic including your copyright layer, right click copy merged, and paste into AS as new animation, then right click copy, then right click paste after current frame, repeat this process until you have a total of 7 frames. Select All then open up the first animation of the ocean pic and right click copy, then on the second animation right click paste into selection. (make sure all frames are still highlighted)
 
Now go back to PSP and close off all those layers you just brought over to AS and open all the layers that are ABOVE the ocean pic, right click copy merged, then right click paste into selection.
View animation!


Beach Fun PTU

Let's Begin!


Open up a new image I like to use a tagger size of 460 x 460 
Open up frame 5 and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, close off original. Resize and position to your liking. Using your magic wand click inside the frame and then go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 8 then open up your tube and right click copy, right click paste as new layer and place below the frame, then go to Selections-Invert-hit Delete on your keyboard then Deselect.
Open up the palm tree element and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, close off the original, position under the frame to the right and duplicate the tree and then go to Image-Mirror. (see my example above)

Then open the sand element and change the color using the color changer. To change the color go to Selections-Float-Defloat then using the color changer tool click on the sand using this color #905b09, right click paste as new layer, close off the original (don't save the changes) place on the bottom layer.

Now you can add any other elements you want just make sure you copy and paste each one as a new layer.

Add your name and copyright info and you are done!

Tropical Vacation FTU

Let's Begin!


Open up a new image I like to use a tagger size of 460 x 460
Flood fill white
Open up frame 2 and right click copy, and right click paste as new layer, close off original, resize to your liking, using your magic wand click inside the frame and then go to Selections-Modify-Expand by 5, then open up paper 11 and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, place the paper below the frame, then go to Selections-Invert-hit delete on your keyboard then Deselect.

Open up element 16 (the blue wave) and right click copy, right click paste as new layer and place under the frame but above the paper, (see example above) resize to your liking

Open up element 43 (the lantern lights) and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, position and resize to your liking, now duplicate 2 times, you should have 3 total. Close off the original and duplicate 3. On the Duplicate 2 lantern layer, using your free hand selection tool, on the free hand setting, circle around every other lantern, to select around multiple lanterns, hold down the shift key. Then go to Adjust-Brightness/Contrast-Brightness and Contrast-and use these settings
Deselect. Close off the duplicate 2 and open duplicate3, and do the same thing but on the alternating lanterns, and use the same setting for the brightness and contrast. Close off Duplicate 3 and open the original
Add any other elements you want making sure you copy and paste each one as a new layer

Open up paper 8 and right click copy, right click paste as new layer, and add your mask, invert your mask.
Add your name and copyright info

Continue below to Animation Shop if you choose to animate your tag!
:Animation Shop:
Back in PSP right click, copy merged and paste into Animation Shop
. Now go back to PSP and close off the first lantern lights, and open the 2nd duplicate, copy merged and paste into AS after current frame, then go back to PSP and close the duplicate 2 and open duplicate 3 and right click, copy merged and paste into AS after current frame.
